Where to Stay in Nashville
Downtown Nashville is the ideal place to stay for a multi-sport road trip. Hotels in the Broadway, SoBro, and The Gulch neighborhoods place you within walking distance of both Bridgestone Arena and Nissan Stadium, making it easy to experience Predators hockey, Titans football, and everything Music City has to offer without needing a car. You'll also be just steps from Broadway's legendary live music venues, the Country Music Hall of Fame, the Ryman Auditorium, and some of Nashville's best restaurants.
Travelers looking for a quieter stay may also consider East Nashville or Music Row, both of which offer unique neighborhoods and local charm. However, these areas require additional transportation on game days and are less convenient if your primary goal is attending multiple sporting events over the same weekend.

Should You Stay Near Nissan Stadium?
For most visitors, downtown Nashville is the best place to stay. Every featured itinerary combines a Titans game at Nissan Stadium with a Predators game at Bridgestone Arena, while Broadway, the Ryman Auditorium, and many of the city's top restaurants and attractions are all located within the same walkable downtown area.
One of Nashville's biggest advantages is its walkability. The John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge provides an easy connection between downtown and Nissan Stadium, allowing fans to walk to the game while enjoying views of the Cumberland River and the city skyline. Staying downtown also means you're just steps from Bridgestone Arena, making it simple to enjoy both sporting events without needing to change hotels or spend time in traffic.
If your trip is focused exclusively on a Titans game, accommodations near Nissan Stadium can be a convenient option. However, for a true multi-sport road trip that includes Predators hockey and everything Music City has to offer, downtown Nashville remains the ideal home base.

Getting Around Nashville During Your Multi-Sport Road Trip
Nashville is one of the most walkable multi-sport destinations in North America because of the venue proximity. Bridgestone Arena sits directly on Broadway in downtown Nashville, walkable from every downtown hotel. Nissan Stadium sits on the east bank of the Cumberland River, connected to downtown by the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge, a 15-minute walk across a scenic bridge with views of the downtown Nashville skyline. Fans staying at any downtown hotel can walk to both venues without needing a rental car.
BNA (Nashville International Airport) is 15 to 20 minutes from downtown by car via I-40, which makes it one of the more accessible NFL and NHL airport arrivals in the country. BNA has direct flights from most major American markets and international routes from a growing number of hubs, and BNA is one of the fastest-growing airports in the United States. Rideshare from BNA to downtown runs $25 to $40 depending on the specific hotel and traffic conditions.
On Titans game days, walking across the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge from downtown Nashville to Nissan Stadium is the recommended option and takes 15 to 20 minutes at a casual pace. The bridge is closed to vehicles and gives fans a scenic pre-game and post-game walk with the Cumberland River below. If weather is a concern, rideshare from a downtown hotel to Nissan Stadium runs $10 to $20 each way, though game-day surge pricing can hit higher. Parking at Nissan Stadium runs $30 to $60 depending on the game and the specific lot; for most visitors, walking or rideshare is more efficient than driving and parking.

Nashville Between Games: What to Do on Your Sports Weekend
The reason a Nashville sports weekend works so well is that the trip is not just the games. A weekend here that skips Broadway, the Ryman, and the hot chicken scene is a wasted trip. Here is what our team recommends between the Titans and Predators games.
Broadway honky-tonks. Lower Broadway from 2nd to 5th Avenue is the historic country music strip and one of the great American bar streets. Robert's Western World (the classic 1990s honky-tonk with live music, a lunch counter, and rockabilly bands), Tootsie's Orchid Lounge (the 1960 institution behind the Ryman Auditorium where Willie Nelson wrote songs), Legends Corner (traditional country and photograph history), and the Stage (the biggest of the honky-tonk venues) are the standard four picks. All are walking distance from Bridgestone Arena and open into the early morning hours. Broadway on a Saturday night is one of the great American entertainment experiences.
Ryman Auditorium. The 1892 tabernacle known as the Mother Church of Country Music sits five blocks north of Bridgestone Arena on 5th Avenue. Home of the Grand Ole Opry from 1943 to 1974, hosting Hank Williams, Patsy Cline, Johnny Cash, and every major country star of the mid-century era. Self-guided tours run daily for $30 and include the pew seating, the stage, and the historic exhibits. Evening concert tickets to a Ryman show are one of the definitive Nashville experiences; check the schedule for your dates.
Country Music Hall of Fame. Attached to the Omni Nashville hotel and walking distance from Bridgestone Arena, the Country Music Hall of Fame is a two-hour museum walk-through covering the entire history of American country music. Elvis Presley's gold-plated 1960 Cadillac, Johnny Cash's leather jacket, and the RCA Studio B tour (offered as a $50 add-on that includes a shuttle to Music Row) are the standard picks. Sunday morning before an afternoon Titans game works well for the two-hour visit.
Grand Ole Opry at Opryland. Fifteen minutes north of downtown by car, the modern Grand Ole Opry stage at the Grand Ole Opry House (opened 1974 to replace the Ryman as the Opry venue) hosts weekly Opry broadcasts every Friday and Saturday night. Show tickets run $60 to $120 depending on the section, and a Saturday-night Opry show works as a between-games addition on any of the featured weekends. The Gaylord Opryland Resort next door and the Opry Mills outlet mall round out the Opryland complex.
Nashville hot chicken tour. The Nashville hot chicken tradition dates back to Prince's Hot Chicken Shack (the original 1936 restaurant in East Nashville), and every visitor should try at least one hot chicken sandwich. Prince's remains the definitive stop despite the wait; Hattie B's (multiple downtown locations) is the tourist-favorite and offers heat levels from Southern to Shut the Cluck Up; and Party Fowl (SoBro) adds hot chicken to a full-service bar menu. Hot chicken lunch works well as a pre-game meal on any Sunday.
The Nashville food scene beyond hot chicken. Loveless Cafe (biscuits since 1951, a 25-minute drive southwest of downtown) is the definitive Southern breakfast institution. Arnold's Country Kitchen (meat and three, weekdays only) is the classic Nashville lunch counter. Rolf and Daughters in Germantown is one of the best Italian restaurants in the American South. Husk Nashville brings the Charleston chef Sean Brock's Southern-ingredient approach to a Rutledge Hill townhouse. The Catbird Seat is the tasting-menu high-water mark of the Nashville fine-dining scene, and the Bastion tasting-room reservation books three months out.
Johnny Cash Museum and Patsy Cline Museum. Attached to each other on 3rd Avenue South, three blocks from Bridgestone Arena, the Johnny Cash Museum and the Patsy Cline Museum run together as a two-museum ticket ($40 combined). Man in Black memorabilia, June Carter Cash duets footage, the Folsom Prison and San Quentin material, and the Patsy Cline personal-belongings collection all sit within a 45-minute museum walk-through. Ideal Saturday morning add-on before a Predators matinee.
The Parthenon and Centennial Park. Ten minutes west of downtown by car, the Parthenon is a full-scale replica of the ancient Greek temple, built for the 1897 Tennessee Centennial Exposition and rebuilt in concrete in 1931. The interior houses a 42-foot statue of Athena (the largest indoor sculpture in the Western Hemisphere) and a small art museum. Free to view from the outside, $10 admission for the interior. Centennial Park surrounds the Parthenon with a walking loop and a small lake, and Vanderbilt University sits directly across West End Avenue.
